About us

In August 2024 we launched a new and improved St. Johnstone Business Club. This initiative aims to bring together like-minded professionals and businesses, providing a platform for networking, learning, and supporting St. Johnstone Football Club (SJFC).

As a member of the Business Club, you will enjoy a variety of benefits and have specific responsibilities to ensure the club’s success and community engagement.

Member Meetings and Networking Opportunities

Members of the Business Club will gather approximately every six weeks at McDiarmid Park. These meetings will be held from August through April, aligning with the football season. Each session will feature food and non-alcoholic beverages, with the option to bring additional guests for a fee of £10 per seat. A highlight of these gatherings will be a presentation by a guest speaker, often featuring representatives from SJFC, such as coaches, players, former players, or club officials. There will also be opportunities for members or other guests to speak, fostering a rich environment for networking and collaboration among attendees.

Exclusive Events and Hospitality

Business Club members will have the opportunity to attend hospitality events on two occasions each season – one before January 1 and another afterwards. Each member can participate in one of these events, with limits applied to ensure an inclusive experience. In addition, a limited number of non-hospitality tickets will be made available to members. The club will also organise an away day and other events throughout the year, with members voting on suggested activities. Extra charges may apply for some events, depending on the nature and scale of the occasion.

Community Involvement and Responsibilities

As a member of the Business Club, you will be encouraged to assist SJFC in special projects and charitable initiatives. One such responsibility is to consider offering discounts to the club’s season ticket holders, particularly if your business is suitable for such offers. The annual membership dues are set at £250 + VAT per member, primarily to cover the operational costs of the Business Club. Any surplus funds will be donated to the youth academy, supporting the development of young talent within the club.

Member-Run and Club Collaboration

The Business Club will be member-run but will maintain a close working relationship with SJFC. We are also excited to announce a member-only WhatsApp group. This platforms will facilitate communication, event planning, and further networking opportunities.
